I knew we were on to something when we were doing a fancy Bar Mitzvah with a wide range of gourmet foods and several of the grownups came out to get pizzas for their tables. Whether it's a luncheon at the temple, a dance party at the house for all the kids or a brunch the next day, the Big Green Truck can make your event memorable.
Kosher style or Kosher
Most of the bar/bat mitzvahs we do are kosher style/dairy. We use regular mozzarella and parmesan, vegetable toppings and yes we bring anchovies. No pepperoni, no shrimp.
Prices begin at $1000.
We have done kosher events in conjunction with a kosher caterer or market. The method we use for preheating the oven - burning a fire across the entire floor of the oven for over an hour - is precisely what is required to kosher it. We buy the dough and all the toppings from whatever kosher source is acceptable to you, leave everything in its original container, use new pizza paddles and cutters, and serve everything on paper plates. We are comfortable with whatever level of supervision you want. We price these events on a flat fee of $600 plus travel time if needed and you contract directly with whatever kosher source you choose for the dough and toppings
