Booking and Pricing

How do I book a party?

How far in advance do I have to book?

We book on a first come, first serve basis and cannot guarantee availability. For peak periods (summer in CT and Fall and Winter months in FL, we encourage you to book as far in advance as possible.

If the date I want is booked, do you have a waiting list?

Yes.

What if I need to cancel?

If you cancel before 30 days of your event your deposit will be returned.

How much is it if I have less then 50 people?

We charge for 50 people or less, so the price for 30 people is the same as 50.

What is your minimum number of people?

We have no minimum number, but the charge for 50 people will apply.

What is your maximum party number?

The optimum size for a pizza party with one truck is 75. With over 100 people, it becomes difficult to keep up with the crowd and to serve easily around our tables. The max per truck is 125 people. Anything over that and you must order the 2nd truck, 3rd truck, etc. We currently have 4 trucks available.

When do you need to know our final count?

One week prior to your party, unless the change demands an additional truck (if available).

Do I have to pay full price for children?

Kids under 5 are free and children ages 5 - 12 are counted 2-for-1.

Can you come earlier than it says on the calendar?

We try to keep a fixed schedule between bookings, but if possible it can be arranged. Please call our office well ahead of time to arrange.

Do you do parties outside of CT and the Orlando, FL area?

Currently, we only serve events inside Connecticut and Orlando, Florida.

Rain

What happens if it rains?

We have an awning that extends over our work area to protect the area in front of the oven, but we do not have protection against the wind or covers for the serving table(s).

Can you bring pizzas inside?

Yes, we can bring pizzas into the house, a tent, lanai or other covered area.

Can you pull up to my garage?

We can pull up close to a building or garage, but we cannot pull inside a building because of our chimney.

Parking and Set up

Can you park in the backyard?

If the ground is level and firm enough, yes.

Can you park on the street in front of my house?

We can park in the street, as long as the road is reasonably level and there is room for our prep tables.

How wide is the truck?

Our truck is about 8 feet wide.

How tall is the truck? – There’s a low branch…

Our truck is 9 feet tall including the chimney.

Do you do gluten free pizzas?

Yes as long as notice is given in advance.

Do you take requests for pizzas?

Yes, though specific requests are more easily taken after a party’s initial rush has been taken care of.

Trucks

How many trucks do you have?

Currently, we have 4 trucks in operation.

Did you buy them like this or did you make them yourself?

Each truck has a unique history. They were all purchased, restored, and then outfitted with the equipment to become the mobile pizzerias they are today.

Are they real antiques?

Yes and each truck has undergone substantial restoration to reach their current condition.
